Disney World!
Our Trip to Florida and Disney was WONDERFUL!
We had just the right balance of time just hanging around with my Dad and going out and doing the tourist things, including
Disney World. (twice!) 780 pictures later I choose these 45 to share because they showed what the whole week was like.

It took us 23 hours in the van to get down to my dad's place, We had a late start which threw off our sleeping
plan and Eimile was car sick. Then when we were only 3 miles away from my dads we got stuck on the interstate that they shut
down for over an hour with a semi truck hauling honey bees two cars behind us. Good thing we toped off the gas tank every
time we stoped to stretch our legs cause we couldn't open the windows with the bees flying around all over the place so we
had to sit there with our AC running the whole time. It was so nice to reach my dad's place after all that time.

After this odd Michigan winter the sunny Florida beach was the first place we wanted to go. The Gulf side
water was still cool but my family is used to swimming in Lake Superior's "cool" water, so we jumped right
in.

I had been to Disney World's Magic Kingdom before but I was younger than Eimile and cannot remember anything
more than the photos of me there in my parents old albums. I wasnt' really sure what to expect when I walked in and was
already starting to tense up thinking about big crowds, long lines and how to entertain a 2 year old while the rest of the
family played. But when I walked in and walked up main street towards the castle I honestly was so overwhelmed with happiness
I started crying. (Trust me I'm laughing at myself too as I'm typing this) and any time I looked down and saw the happiness
shine through my daughter I cried again on that first day. I'm not sure if Eimile will remember this when she is all grown
up but I sure will, and it won't be the lines I'm thinking of.
Tim took the older kids with him and rode on the rides Eimile couldn't take and My dad and I took Eimile
on the calmer rides, but not until after a dose of draminmin for Em. It worked well, and she loved it when we got back together
as a family and Gram-pa spun the teacup so fast daddy and I both wanted to pass out.
We couldn't choose what other theme park we wanted to go to on our two day pass so we decided we wanted
to go back to Magic Kingdom so these pictures are at the same place from two different days.

No trip to Disney World would be complete without meeting Mickey and some of his friends. I thought Eimile
would be scared of them but she ran right up to Tigger and gave him a big kiss. after that she continued to ask
when we were going to get to meet Mickey. Now that one might be one line I'll remember.
And half the week we just hung out near my dad's place or went out for ice cream or pizza. The warm weather
was enough to get us to just want to slow down and enjoy it.
